The project is located in a designated industrial zone in northeastern Romania (Bacău region) with excellent grid infrastructure. Due to confidentiality obligations, the exact location will only be disclosed after an NDA has been signed.

The project comprises a fully approved battery energy storage system (BESS) with a usable energy of 600 MWh and a feed-in capacity of 150 MW. Direct integration into its own 220 kV switchgear means that no grid reinforcements are required, eliminating grid fees and power restrictions. The plant is located on an approx. 2-hectare site within an existing power plant area and enables rapid implementation.

Capacity: 150 MW (quota already secured)
Grid connection: 220 kV high-voltage line, feed-in via own switchgear
Property: approx. 20,000 m², industrially pre-developed
Possible applications:
- Grid frequency and voltage stabilization
- Peak shaving and load shifting
- Control energy (FRR / aFRR) and capacity market
- Storage for periods of high load or renewable energy surplus
